Meet Our Team

Meg Solomon, MS Ed, BCBA®

I am Meg Solomon, the founder and lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst® at ABA Across Environments.  Although I have always been inspired by children, I never realized that I would find so much fulfillment working in the field of Behavior Analysis.  When I first graduated from Southwestern University in December 2004, I told my grandfather that I wanted to become a teacher. He told me to go into sales or real estate because it was “in my blood.”  I took his advice. I began my career selling high-end retail in Dallas, Texas. Through meeting customers, I found that I love working with people. However, I wanted more, but I could not quite envision what “more” might be.  So, I made the career change to commercial real estate where I spent my days scouring databases to find decision-makers at companies who would want to hire my employer to manage their portfolio. Although it was a daunting task, and I learned so much about how the world works, I did not feel as though I was doing what I was meant to do.

In 2008, I moved to Los Angeles in hopes that a change of environment would help me find my purpose in life.  I worked in some of the most incredible restaurants and with some of the most talented chefs and winemakers in the world.  I served celebrity guests regularly, had one of the most flexible high-paying jobs imaginable, and met my husband during this time.

After confessing to a good friend of mine that I missed working with children, I began volunteering with her at a school for students with autism and other special needs.  I began volunteering full-time, and eventually quit my job on the Sunset Strip. Seeing how much joy volunteering brought to my life, my then fiancé supported me as I went from making money to making literally nothing.  I subsequently began working with a company that focuses on early intervention from infancy with an emphasis on neuroscience and teaching verbal behavior and social skills through play, song, and imitation. I was truly fascinated.

In April 2012, I began working with a nationwide Applied Behavior Analysis company in Los Angeles.  The science made sense to me; I knew that I had found my calling. I worked the next year with several clients in their homes and schools.  I loved every moment of it and I felt challenged to do better every day.

My husband and I moved to Waco, Texas where I began my Master of Science in Education at Baylor University in May of 2014.  Soon after receiving my degree, we welcomed our son in 2015 and then moved to Colorado in 2016 to begin my career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® in the clinical environment.  In the spring on 2019, we welcomed a daughter.  I enjoy using ABA everyday not only with my clients but in my own family. It was amazing to hear both our son and daughter begin speaking at an early age and watch their progress through the application of ABA principles.

I have the privilege of working with passionate people who love seeing changes that impact not only individuals, but families and classrooms. Although my journey to ABA was not direct, I learned so much about other cultures and ways of life that I feel as though I have a deeper respect for individuals and what each person has to offer.

Cassandra Farrell, MS, BCBA®

I am Cassandra Farrell. I have worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since May of 2017 as a Registered Behavior Technician® and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® in February 2020. I have always had a passion for helping people and trying to improve the lives of those around me. Before entering ABA, I worked at an assisted living community in the Memory Care Unit with the intent of becoming a nurse. As much as I loved my residents, I didn’t feel that was my calling in life. I researched careers that focused on helping and improving the lives of others and found ABA. I joined a company that offered in-home, community- and clinic-centered services to children with autism. I fell in love! I began as an RBT® in 2017 and started pursuing my BCBA® certification within a year and half of working in ABA. I love that my career allows me to continue my passion helping and improving the lives of others as well as sharing the supports and benefits that ABA has to offer.

I was born and raised here in Colorado. I grew up in Highlands Ranch, southwest of Denver, and moved to Colorado Springs in 2011 to attend UCCS where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I started my college career with the dream of becoming a nurse which led me to work at an assisted living facility. Although my nursing dream changed, I had found my future husband at the assisted living facility. I then attended Ball State University in 2018 for my masters in ABA with an emphasis in autism. I had a “COVID Wedding” in June 2020 because I could not wait to marry the man of my dreams. I look forward to the new opportunities that joining ABA Across Environments has offered and to improving the lives of kids and their families.

Tommi Narunsky, MS, BCBA®

My name is Tommi Narunsky! I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and moved to the USA at the age of seven. Since then, I’ve discovered my passion for helping others enhance their independence and overall quality of life. After receiving my Bachelors of Science, I began my career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist® (CTRS®). Through this journey, I gained the opportunity to work throughout various mental health facilities and clients, ranging from early intervention to geriatrics. This career path led me to my love of research, evidenced-based data, and overall desire to enhance my clinical skills in the field of mental and behavioral health. I followed my dreams to become a BCBA® and graduated from Simmons University with my Masters of Science in May 2021. The field of Applied Behavior Analysis brings me endless fulfillment and joy each and every day. There is nothing better than those day-to-day wins with my clients and families!

Jerry Solomon, COO

Jerry hails from Wyoming and Kansas but spent most of her early adulthood in New York City.  After working in some of the most high-paced restaurants and learning the ins and outs of management and operations, Jerry moved into the Operations role at Across Environments.  Jerry works hard to keep staff’s schedules flexible while ensuring our families and clients receive consistent and quality services.  His organization is top notch, and he always knows how to make the team smile!
